DiamondXtra customers will smile home with a whopping N135 million in the Season 15 of the DiamondXtra Savings promo which was launched in Lagos.

Mr. Bolarinwa Animashaun, the Regional Sales Director of the bank, while speaking during the launch at the bank’s branch in Computer Village, Ikeja Lagos, said Access Bank is richly dependent on its customers hence their zeal to always go with them with the DiamondXtra Savings promo.

He said since its inception and now in its fifteenth season, DiamondXtra has doled out more than N6.3 billion to its loyal customers with a DiamondXtra account.

“We have given our more than N6.3 billion since the DiamondXtra started over fifteen years ago. More than eight hundred customers are expected to win. It is because of you, the customers that we are here.

“The process has always been transparent and this is why we have always been working with National Lottery Commission and the Consumer Protection Agency,” he said.

DiamondXtra Savings Promo now has 2.4 million customers as over 26,393 customers have been rewarded with more than N6.35 billion since its inception.

DiamondXtra is an interest-yielding hybrid account that allows the deposit of both cash and third-party cheques.

Also speaking on this season’s edition, Mr.s Njideka Esomeju, the Group Head (Consumer Banking), said all the customers needed to do was to open a DiamondXtra account with as little as N5000 and maintain a N5000 deposit to qualify for the draws.

She said twenty customers would at the venue of the launching of season 15 win N10,000 each, a gesture the bank raised to forty customers.

“Twenty people (customers) will right here win N10,000 each and that is what we are using to kickstart this season of DiamondXtra.

“After Lagos, we are going to all parts of the country with the draws and it is our way of appreciating our customers,” he said.

Speaking on the transparency of DiamondXtra, Mrs. Suzzy Onwuka who was from the Lagos office of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) said they had been monitoring the DiamondXtra and could certify it very customer-friendly.

“Since we have been monitoring this programme, it has been transparent. We have never heard any complaint from any winner about not reviving his prize.

“Looking at their terms and conditions, they are very friendly and that attests to how they have carried on. Kudos to Access Bank for rewarding their customers,” she said.

Meanwhile, a past winner of N1 million, Mrs. Iheanacho, who spoke on the reward promo, praised the bank for this and relayed how she heard of her prize, encouraging others to believe in the scheme, noting that all it takes is opening a DiamondExtra account.
